Merit Badge College a Success at LSTC
Linn State Technical College hosted the Boy Scout Merit Badge College on Saturday, August 2. Saturday’s event brought 228 Boy Scouts from 34 Troops in Missouri and Illinois. They attended one of 19 merit badge classes that were held. At the end of the day the boys earned a merit badge that moves them one step closer to attaining the Eagle Rank.

The event was coordinated by Debbie Backes, Troop 17, Linn coordinator; Sheila Luebbert, LSTC Administrative Support Assistant-Curriculum; and Zak Wardell, LSTC Physics Instructor and Eagle Scout Alumnus (1986) Troop 35, Baltimore, Maryland.
